1.5 million Bai people live in the Dali region of Southwest China. Many Bai are followers of Mahayana Buddhism. Their names come from the Bai (white) marble that can be found near their home.

These beautiful rag dolls are dressed in intricate, traditional costumes of China's ethnic minority people groups. China officially recognises 56 minorities. These collectibles make unique, meaningful gifts for both children and adults and are a wonderful way to raise awareness about the diverse people groups of China.
Dolls are fully dressable and additional costumes can be purchased separately.
Although the doll bodies are safe for small children with hand embroidered faces and no small parts, the costumes do contain beads and other small parts, so are not recommended for children under 3.
